HADAC closes

it is with great sadness that we announce HADAC will no longer be operating. A number of factors contributed to our closing and we will be sorry to no longer see all our great athletes but we hope everyone remember us with a smile and enjoyed their time at HADAC

LAAA Relays

The sun was shining at EK and a great day was had by all and to top it of we came away with 3 medals

Gold for our U13 Girls squad of Melissa Mckay, Orla Brown, Lauren Kane and Tiana Greenshields

Bronze for our U13 Boys and Senior Men’s squads of Lewis Carroll, Bailey O’neill, Calum McPhee and Grieg Roberts

Scott Wrisberg, Grant Wrisberg, David Chisholm and Rohin O’neill

 

Well done to them and all the athletes who took part and big thanks to all who attended and provided such great support

Who would have believed it. Our we club is the Hamilton Sports Council Club of the Year!!

 

 

National Bronze!

Team HADAC had 3 teams at today’s National Indoor U12 Superteams, 1 boys and 2 girls and our girls A squad of Tiana Greenshields, Layla Reddiex, Neve Elliot and Rose Scott achieved a Bronze medal and our CLUBS second ever National medal. We’ll done to all 4 girls and all who took part from the club who all did themselves proud!

U20 and U15 Nationals
Well done everyone to competed.
U20 60m club captain Rohin ONeil in new PB 7.66s
U15 200m Matthew Reid in new PB 28.55s
U15 200m Hannah Kulke in new PB 32.55s and also new PB in long jump of 3.40m
U15 200m Molly O’Donnell in new PB of 31.66 and just missed PB in Shot Put
U15 60mH Jade Gray just missed her PB in hurdles and well done qualifying into the semi finals of the 60m just outside PB.
This was Jades last comp and last day with HADAC as Jade has decided to leave us and join Larkhall YMCA Harriers, thanks for all your efforts over last 18 months or so and wish you all the best at Larkhall.
Coaches Colin and Angela will be staying with us and Colin going for the next coaching qualification.
Again its been a massive improvement for all the kids over the last 2 weekends and shows hard work pays off.
Onwards to u12 SUPERTEAMS next Sunday and the National 4x200m Relays the following weekend.

Yearly Club Affiliation Fees

Folks. It’s that time of the year when our annual fees are due. We are required to pay out SA affiliations etc by 31st August. Can I ask that all annual affiliation fees are likewise paid by 31st August. As a reminder our affiliation is £30 per athlete and £15 per each subsequent athlete from the same family so for 2 athletes from the same family is £45.No other club has such low affiliation fees. Let’s end 2018 outdoor season on a high at the LAAAs and Thank you for your continued support of HADAC.

LAAA Relays Results

A fantastic day for the club. We had 8 squads entered this year, our most and we won 4 medals, also our most. 1 gold, 2 silvers and a bronze.

Fantastic effort by all athletes is all our squads and quite a few running for the first time.
